Corbin Rouge 2020 Un Grand Vin De St Emilion Grand Cru :

Discovering Château Grand-Corbin

Château Grand-Corbin is a vineyard located in the north-west of the Saint-Emilion plateau, adjacent to the Pomerol appellation. Its history dates back to the end of the 18th century when it was founded by Guillaume Ignace Bouchereau, also known as the “Prince of Vines”. After spending forty years abroad, Bouchereau returned to France to pursue his passion for the vine and created the Château Grand-Corbin estate.

The Terroir

The vineyard covers 28.5 hectares of land made up of silica in a bed of blue clays. The estate’s terroir is composed of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (25%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). This unique combination of grape varieties gives the wines of Château Grand-Corbin their exceptional character.

The Wines

Château Grand-Corbin’s wines are highly regarded for their elegance and finesse. The Merlot brings roundness and suppleness to the wine, while the Cabernet Franc adds complexity and finesse. The Cabernet Sauvignon contributes structure and power. The wines are aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, which gives subtle aromas of vanilla and toasting while preserving the fruit’s purity. They are excellent to taste when young and also have the potential to age gracefully for several years.

The Passion Behind CORBIN Wine

CORBIN wine is a true reflection of the passion and dedication of its creators, and a testament to the unique terroir of the Saint-Emilion plateau. The vineyard’s commitment to producing exceptional wines has made Château Grand-Corbin a highly respected name in the world of wine.
