The success story of Château Valandraud

Château Valandraud, a 1st grand cru classé of Saint-Emilion, was born from Jean-Luc Thunevin’s passion for wine. This “garage wine” produced with low yields is the result of strict standards for vine care and harvesting grapes at optimal maturity. Jean-Luc Thunevin created Château Valandraud in 1991, thanks to his determination and hard work. He was inspired by Le Pin during a tasting and thus realized his wish to produce an exceptional wine.

Concentrated and high-quality micro-cuvées

In addition to Château Valandraud, Jean-Luc Thunevin is the creator of several other garage wines. All of these micro-cuvées, produced with low yields, are the result of meticulous work and strict standards for vine care. Grapes are harvested at optimal maturity to obtain optimal concentration.
