The SPRING MOUNTAIN CAB.RESERVE represents the ultimate in hillside Cabernet Sauvignon from the prestigious Spring Mountain District AVA, Napa Valley. Produced by the renowned Spring Mountain Vineyard, this 'Reserve' bottling is a wine of immense power, concentration, and finesse. The distinct terroir-steep slopes and complex volcanic/sedimentary soils-results in low yields and intensely flavoured grapes, distinguishing it from valley-floor Cabernets.

Tasting Notes

• Colour: A deep, rich garnet, indicative of great concentration.
• Nose: An intense and layered nose of blackcurrant, dark plum, fresh tobacco leaf, cedar, and a hint of mint/menthol, underpinned by notes of dark chocolate.
• Palate: Full-bodied with a luxurious, velvety texture. The powerful, yet fine-grained tannins typical of the mountain are perfectly balanced by a refreshing acidity. Exceptional length on the finish.
