The Elegance of the Andes: Rocas de Seña

As the second wine from the prestigious Viña Seña estate, Rocas de Seña is a magnificent tribute to the 'rocky' (Rocas) soils of the Aconcagua Valley. This sophisticated blend masterfully marries the classic structure of a Bordeaux wine with the aromatic lift and youthful vigour of Mediterranean grapes, offering a taste of Chile's iconic winemaking.

Expert Tasting Notes

This wine presents a deep, intense purple color and an expressive, complex profile:

• Aroma: An intense bouquet of pure red and black fruits (blackberry, cherry), with refined secondary notes of graphite, Asian spices, and an earthy, mineral undertone reminiscent of crushed rocks.
• Taste: The palate is suave, precise, and plush, showing great density without heaviness. Expect layers of fresh fruit and subtle oak spice. The tannins are silky and integrated, framed by a bracing tension that leads to a long, memorable, and elegant finish.

Food Pairing & Ideal Serve

A wine of this calibre is perfect for formal dining and rich, savory dishes.

• Serving Advice: Serve at 16-18°C. A brief decant will enhance its aromatic complexity.
• Pairing Suggestions: Beef Wellington, Roast Duck Breast with Plum Sauce, Venison Loin with Redcurrant Jus.
