Les Fiefs De Lagrange Red 2002 A Grand Crus From Saint-Julien
The vineyard of Château Lagrange
Château Lagrange, located in the prestigious Saint-Julien appellation, is a renowned vineyard that covers 118 hectares. The vines benefit from an exceptional terroir composed of gravel and sand soils, as well as a temperate oceanic climate, conducive to the cultivation of traditional Bordeaux grape varieties. The grapes, harvested by hand, are carefully sorted before their vinification using traditional methods. The wines are then aged in French oak barrels for a period of 18 months, which allows for subtle aromas and a beautiful tannic structure.
The characteristics of Lagrange wines
Lagrange wines are characterized by remarkable elegance and finesse, with a perfect balance between power and finesse. They offer aromas of black fruits, spices, and tobacco, as well as a persistent finish in the mouth. Their color is intense and deep, with a violet hue characteristic of great Bordeaux wines. Lagrange wines are also known for their ability to age well, with vintages that can be preserved for several decades.
