    The Moulin vineyard

    The Moulin vineyard extends over an area of 2 hectares, located on a clay-gravel soil. The vines have an average age of 30 years and are carefully cultivated using traditional methods. The grapes are hand-picked and followed by meticulous sorting and destemming to ensure optimal grape quality.

    Meticulous winemaking for Le Moulin

    The winemaking process for Le Moulin is carried out in conical stainless steel vats of 30 hl, with manual punching down and thermoregulated temperatures. The maceration lasts for 3 to 4 weeks depending on the vintage. After malolactic fermentation in new barrels, the aging is also done in new barrels. This method results in a complex and balanced wine.

    The Merlot and Cabernet Franc grape varieties

    The Moulin vineyard uses Merlot and Cabernet Franc grape varieties, with a proportion of 80% and 20% respectively. This combination produces a powerful and elegant wine, with notes of red fruits and a beautiful mouthfeel. The average production is 10,000 bottles, demonstrating the producers' commitment to prioritizing quality over quantity.
