The LAGRANGE POMEROL Estate
Located on the northern edge of the Pomerol plateau, the LAGRANGE POMEROL estate was acquired in 1953 by the Jean-Pierre Moueix establishments. It is now owned by Mr. Pecresse, who is also the owner of the prestigious neighboring ChĂąteau Trotanoy.
A Traditional and Meticulous Vineyard
The LAGRANGE POMEROL vineyard is cultivated in a traditional manner with great attention to detail such as soil work, thinning, and leaf removal. The grapes benefit from heavy, clay soils that give them exceptional complexity and concentration. After hand harvesting at optimal maturity, the musts ferment in small cement and stainless steel vats. Aging then continues in oak barrels.
