La Croix de Gay: A renowned wine from the Raynaud-Lebreton family

Coming from a line of Pomerol winegrowers since 1477, the Raynaud-Lebreton family proudly operates the vineyard of Château La Croix de Gay. Ancestors Mathelin and Michel Barraud obtained land on the Pomerol plateau in 1477 to operate for the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. Today, the estate continues this winemaking tradition by respecting the terroir and producing quality wines.

The vineyard of La Croix de Gay, covering 4.5 hectares, is located on the famous Pomerol plateau. The soil is made up of sands, clays, and gravels, thus offering different terroirs. The vines are carefully cultivated in respect of the environment and biodiversity.

La Croix de Gay is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, harvested by hand and vinified with great care.
