Premier Cru Pouilly-Fuissé: A Burgundy Masterpiece

The Pouilly-Fuissé 1Er Cru "La Maréchaude" by Domaine Guerrin & Fils represents the pinnacle of Mâconnais Chardonnay. Sourced from a prized, south-facing Premier Cru 'Climat', the deep clay-limestone soils of La Maréchaude yield a wine of remarkable power and aromatic richness.

The Sommelier's Tasting Profile

This wine is aged for 10-12 months in oak barrels, giving it a profound, gourmet character.

• Appearance: A radiant pale gold.
• Aroma: Rich and inviting, presenting intense ripe fruit-think baked peach and apricot-complemented by notes of patisserie, toasted hazelnut, and buttery vanilla.
• Taste: Full-bodied and generous, with a wonderfully fleshy texture that coats the palate. The wine is balanced by a backbone of mineral freshness, leading to a long, sophisticated, and age-worthy finish. A true delight for the discerning palate.

Food Pairing & Cellaring

A gastronomic white that demands fine dining. Decant briefly and serve slightly chilled.

• Serving Suggestion: Ideal with classic British fish dishes or rich poultry.
• Cellaring Potential: Ready to drink now or cellar for 8+ years.
