Jean-Luc Thunevin is a wine enthusiast, famous for developing Château Valandraud, from its origins as a simple “garage wine” to its status as a 1st grand cru classé of Saint-Emilion in 2012. It was during a tasting of Le Pin that the desire to create an exceptional wine seized him. His perseverance and determination allowed him to achieve his wish with the first vintage of Château Valandraud in 1991. Today, Jean-Luc Thunevin is a producer of exceptional wines.

Concentrated and high-quality micro-cuvées

Initiator of many other garage wines, Jean-Luc Thunevin produces micro-cuvées from low yields. To do this, the vines are carefully maintained according to strict standards, in order to obtain grapes harvested at optimal maturity. The DOM.
