Jean-Luc Thunevin is a wine enthusiast, famous for developing Château Valandraud, from its origins as a simple “garage wine” to its status as a 1st grand cru classé of Saint-Emilion in 2012. It was during a tasting of Le Pin that the desire to create an exceptional wine seized him. His perseverance and determination allowed him to achieve his wish with the first vintage of Château Valandraud in 1991. Today, Jean-Luc Thunevin is a producer of exceptional wines.

Concentrated and high-quality micro-cuvées

Initiator of many other garage wines, Jean-Luc Thunevin produces micro-cuvées from low yields. To do this, the vines are carefully maintained according to strict standards, in order to obtain grapes harvested at optimal maturity. The DOM. THUNEVIN – CALVET LES DENTELLES, a fresh, voluminous and ripe wine, is the result of the same quality requirement. In short, an exceptional wine that will delight lovers of great vintages.

Of a beautiful ruby red color, this 2013 Côtes du Roussillon Villages offers aromas of ripe red fruits and sweet spices. On the palate, it is balanced with soft tannins and a persistent finish.
