This Merlot-led blend is a testament to the quality achievable outside the major communes, offering a wine of genuine depth and structure thanks to careful selection and traditional oak maturation.

Tasting Notes

• Colour: A deep, alluring garnet hue.
• Aroma: Richly expressive, showing concentrated dark berries (blackcurrant, cherry) and plums, beautifully framed by subtle notes of licorice, cedar, and mocha from its time in barrel.
• Palate: Generous, concentrated, and beautifully balanced. The tannins are fine-grained and soft, creating a smooth mouthfeel and an elegant structure. The finish is long and satisfying, maintaining a lovely freshness.

Food Pairing & Decanting

A classic Claret, this Réserve is a superb match for traditional British comfort food and robust meat dishes. Decanting is recommended an hour before serving at 16-18°C to allow its full complexity to unfold.
