Named 'Connivence' (meaning complicity or understanding), this Pomerol is the result of a unique collaboration between friends, including former footballers Johan Micoud and Matthieu Chalmé. Overseen by esteemed oenologists, this limited-production wine epitomises the velvet power of the Right Bank. It is meticulously crafted from a small, prized plot of gravelly, iron-rich clay (the famed 'crasse de fer'), providing the perfect environment for the Merlot grape to achieve its most refined expression.

Tasting Profile: Richness and Velvety Texture

• Appearance: A deep, luxurious garnet hue.
• Aroma: Intense and layered, featuring classic Pomerol notes of ripe black plum, dark cherry, and wild berry, underpinned by elegant hints of truffle, cocoa, and cedar from its careful barrel maturation.
• Mouthfeel: The palate is defined by its plush, velvety texture and beautifully integrated, silky tannins. It is full-bodied yet possesses a captivating freshness and lift, leading to a persistent, complex finish. A wine of tremendous class and ageing potential.

Food Pairing & Service

A true connoisseur's wine. We recommend decanting this Pomerol for at least an hour before serving at 16-17°C to allow the bouquet to fully blossom.
