The success story of Château Valandraud
Château Valandraud, created by Jean-Luc Thunevin, became a 1st classified growth of Saint-Emilion in less than 10 years. Inspired by the tasting of Le Pin, Jean-Luc Thunevin decided to create an exceptional wine. With passion, determination and perseverance, he realized his dream with the first vintage of Château Valandraud in 1991.
Meticulously produced micro-cuvées
In addition to Château Valandraud, Jean-Luc Thunevin is also responsible for many other garage wines, such as Bad Boy Canon Fronsac. To produce these micro-cuvées, low yields are selected and strict standards are put in place for vine care. Grapes are harvested at optimal maturity to obtain optimal concentration of aromas.
