This single-vineyard expression, co-fermented with approximately 11% Viognier, is celebrated for its ethereal elegance, complex aromatics, and famously silky texture. It is a benchmark for luxury French Syrah.

Tasting Notes & Heritage

• Colour: A brilliant, deep ruby red with subtle red vermillion tints.
• Bouquet: Intensely aromatic, powerful yet fine. The nose is dominated by small red fruits, blackberry, and the signature floral lift of violet, complemented by notes of tobacco, star anise, and fine spicy oak.
• Palate: The entry is supple, leading to a perfectly balanced profile where the finesse of the aromas meets an explosive richness. It is a 'feminine' wine with a voluptuous, velvety texture and wonderfully refined, gentle tannins that carry through to a sensational, long finish.

Serving Suggestion

Best served slightly cool (16°C-18°C) alongside the finest cuts of meat or game. It requires significant cellaring (15+ years) to show its full potential. A truly magnificent wine for the connoisseur.
