Regarded as the 'soul' of the Domaine, the Cornas "Les Ruchets" Organic Red Wine is a prestigious expression of Northern Rhône Syrah. It is crafted from exceptionally old vines (up to 90 years) grown on the sun-drenched, steep granite slopes of the famed Chaillot parcel. Certified organic, this single-vineyard bottling represents the pinnacle of M. Colombo's winemaking philosophy.

Tasting Notes & Character

The wine showcases a deep garnet-to-inky hue. The bouquet is complex, opening with fragrant notes of violet, a core of intense black fruits (blackcurrant, mulberry), and layers of sweet spice, liquorice, and black pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, yet the Syrah's signature is its silky, mature tannins, leading to a lingering, elegant finish that will evolve beautifully in the cellar for decades.
