Michel Gracia is a former stone cutter who became the artisan behind the Grand Cru of Saint-Emilion bearing his name. He worked for famous wineries such as Angélus, Ausone, and Leoville-Las-Cases before inheriting one hectare of vineyards. Strongly encouraged by his friends Jean-Luc Thunevin (Château Valendraud) and Alain Vauthier (Château d'Ausone), Michel decided to start producing a "garage wine".

After gaining recognition in 1997, Michel Gracia expanded his estate and turned to organic farming, with some biodynamic experiments. Today, the estate is known for its elegant and refined wine, reflecting the passion and expertise of the winemaker.
